Lake District : Shots taken in March 2010. Stream and waterfall shots taken using a 10x ND filter, giving exposures of up to 30 seconds. Panoramas are 'stitched' from up to seven portrait format images. All taken using a Pentax K20D.

Trafalgar Square Ghost Forest : The Ghost Forest was an art installation of tree stumps, with some of the roots still attached, from the rainforest which aimed to raise awareness of the role of deforestation in climate change. The brainchild of artist Angela Palmer, the installation ran from 16-22 November 2009 before heading to Copenhagen in time for the World Climate Change Conference. All photographs taken on a Pentax K20D and converted to monochrome in LightRoom.

East Greenland : Photos taken September 2009. Photos are from a cruise on M/V Professor Molchanov in Scorsby Sund, the world's longest fjord system, and further south in Nansen Fjord. Photos were taken on either a Pentax K20D or K10D. Images have been loaded at 800 pixels on the long axis. [I'm still adding photos and captions to this gallery so please come back for another look!]

Antarctic penninsula : Photographs taken January/February 2008 on a cruise on the MV Prof Multanovskiy to the Antarctic penninsula, south of the circle. All photographs taken with a Pentax K10D. Cats : December 2010. We have two new cats - Piano and Puzzle. They are rescue cats from the Mayhew Animal Home and are brothers from the same litter, about a year old. They were kept inside for the first four weeks, but are now making trips into the outside world and exploring the garden (and, inevitably next door's garden), learning tree climbing, and terrorising next door's cat. Photographs taken on a Panasonic DCM LX3, Pentax K20D, or Pentax K5.
